My mother I see the light fade in your eyes So full of wonder even through demise Will we see tomorrow, or will the sun rise on our graves? Forgave our sins freely We’re all to blame Depleted completely And without shame Endured with a smile Warning signs were there The pain lives inside, inside of your core How can I save you? Have things gone too far? I give you my life, I’ll fight for you endlessly Tell me your tales of a night sky free From the vigilant eye of aristocracy Tempests tore through countrysides And leveled steel from the city skies Tell me your stories of cycles of seasons The ebb and the flow of the blood in hearts beating The laughter of children, the lovers’ reprise Now echoing silence, they sound our demise They sing: This is war This is a eulogy So here’s your war The end of you and me This is the way This struggle fueling me When we all die That’s when we’ll truly see Madre mia, I’ll fight for your life Please forgive me, and all of mankind I give you my soul, I give you my life I’ll never back down, never back down No! Tell me your tales of a world you once knew With the mountains of white and the oceans of blue Tell me all of yesterday I'll hold your hand as you fade away This is war So here’s your war Babylon come down on you all This is war This is a eulogy So here’s your war The end of you and me This is the way The struggle fueling me When we all die That’s when we’ll truly see This fight never ends! We stand together! The revolution starts inside you! Today! Now! For always! Marching to war Fulfill our destiny No backing down This Is A Mutiny My mother I see the future in your eyes Until the end I continue to fight

Hey! I hope this letter finds you well I'm finding time to write this in the midst of raising hell My ears are always ringing, but the tour’s going great Oh! What a difference a year makes What a difference a year makes The tire tracks that led us here Are the ones that lead us home The hangovers and cheap tattoos The keepsakes that we’ll never lose Twenty-four seven Three sixty-five Twenty-four seven What a difference a year makes Hey! Hey! They’re deploying me to war The state has ruled their freedom is what I’m worth dying for I never signed up for this, there must be some mistake Oh! What a difference a year makes Issued me a weapon while pointing theirs at me Made me pledge allegiance and shipped me overseas Today I’m writing from my bunk, tomorrow from the battlefront And if I die in prison camp, pray the Lord provide a stamp Three sixty Three sixty-five Three sixty-five Four, three, two… Tell my mother I’m okay Thanks for writing, I think about you every fucking day By the rockets red glare, I pen this in blood From the corpse lined trenches, where smoke fills lungs My memory fails to recount better days So letters remind what a difference a year makes The tire tracks that led us here Are the ones that lead us home The scars we wear and friends we lost Are reminders of the lines we crossed Twenty-four seven Three sixty-five What a difference a year makes As long as you survive

Shot To Hell 04:03
Sipping wine in Elysian Fields Where the sun is gold and the men genteel I found myself a-wandering along a silver shore When I came across a man I’ve never seen before He said “Son, can you see where the horizon ends? I’ll sail out there and dive off the edge. This world’s a paradise, where I don’t want to be My story has been written but the plot unseen” I said “sir, with respect, do you feel unwell? You know our paradise is warmed by the fires of hell. We live in blissful ignorance and hide the awful truth So we can live a life of luxury and eat forbidden fruit” Then he set his sails and hoisted anchor The winds whipped, the waters churned His brow sweat, his muscles burned When the night turned to day And the clouds had finally parted He looked back at where he started He watched the sea fall into open sky Filled his lungs, closed his eyes Crossed his heart, and hoped to die And fell, shot to hell When he awoke, he found his body was broken Fading visions of the home he’d forsaken The children found him there and sang his praise “We are saved!” “I’m sorry children,” he replied in shame “There is no heaven there to ease your pain Above us only men and mankind’s greed But men are born of the same blood, and all men bleed And hungry dogs will bite when greedy hands won’t feed.” The winds whipped, the fires burned He marched with the children armed And they stormed the barricade! When the gates had finally parted He was back at where he started He watched as Zion crumbled from the sky Filled my lungs, closed my eyes Crossed my heart, hoped to die And fell, shot to hell

Theseus 05:03
The sun beat me blind Blood filled my eyes Laid in a grave Earth dug herself Dim silhouette A lit cigarette Head hammering like a coffin nail Lips part to speak And I grin through gritted teeth “Welcome to hell” The stars I denied that are writing my fate Align as the scars across my bloodied face Connecting the constellations in my skin And guiding my ship like original sin Damned if you do, damned if you don’t Damned if you do, damned if you Free is the power, as free is the pain Bearing the scarring, the curses of Cain The twisting of steel, the twisting of fate The murmurs, the stares, their piteous aid Enduring the beating, the anvil is strong Hammer it’s back, and it rings back in song The ore to the iron, the iron to steel Cast in the likeness, the demon concealed I am the engine, I am the engineer Theseus! Theseus! I am the bomb, I am the bombardier Theseus! Theseus! By the strength of steel, grace of God I’m reborn Theseus! Theseus! Descend to hell from shangri-la I am restored Theseus! Theseus! And like that ship docked on ancient ports Guided home to her sandy shores By the stars Less than the whole, but More than the sum of its parts Remember the struggle. Remember the strife Remember the torment and the sleepless nights Remember your training. Remember your friends. Remember who did this, and have your revenge. I am the captain, I am the mutineer Theseus! Theseus! I am the bullet, I am the bandolier From the baptismal font at the gates of hell I am cleansed For the rights that have wronged, and the past that is marred I avenge The son beat me blind Blood filled my eyes Laid in a grave we dug ourselves Dim silhouette Wet bayonet Pulse hammering like a coffin nail Tempered steel to tattered flesh Weathered wounds to withered wretch The stars, denied, guiding my hand Carving the constellations in their skin
